This policy explains how Gourika Collection collects, uses and stores personal information when you browse the shop, create an account, or place an order for replica jewellery.
Gourika Collection is a Kolkata atelier. For privacy questions write to customercare@gourikacollection.com or use the contact details in the website footer. We sell gold plated jewellery, silver replica jewellery, pearls and temple jewellery — not solid gold or solid silver.
When you order or create an account we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery address, and order history. If you sign in with Google we receive the name and email that Google shares. Checkout also collects payment status from the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. We may keep messages you send on WhatsApp, email or the contact form.
We use this information to fulfil orders, send order confirmations, handle returns, answer enquiries, improve the shop, and meet tax and accounting duties. We may send service messages about your order to your email and, if you gave a WhatsApp number, to WhatsApp.
The shop uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to remember your bag. We may also use analytics such as Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the shop may then work with fewer features.
We share what is needed with payment processors, courier partners, email and WhatsApp providers, and hosting providers who run the website. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if Indian law requires it.
Account and order records are kept for as long as the account is open and for the period Indian tax and consumer law requires after an order. You may ask us to close an account; we will retain what the law still requires.
You may request a copy of the information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Write to customercare@gourikacollection.com with your order number or account email. Marketing messages, if any, can be stopped by using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
The shop is intended for adults buying jewellery. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. The version linked in the website footer on the day you place an order or create an account applies to that use of the shop.
